Why am I seeing these jobs? Filter, save, and hide

Your job suggestions are based on your search preferences. You can filter them and save or hide individual jobs.

How your job suggestions are generated

We suggest jobs that match your profile. To do this, we use:

• the job roles you’re looking for (you’ll also see related roles in the same field)

• your experience level

• your salary expectations

• your location and work mode (hybrid and on-site within a 50 km radius)

• your language skills

Are the suggestions not right for you? Then change your search preferences.

Are you seeing only a few jobs?

This often happens if you only want to work remotely, your salary expectations are very high, your role is very specialized, or you’re missing certain language skills. Below your results, we’ll also show you “Discover exciting jobs in other locations.”

Are there remote jobs and jobs abroad?

You’ll see remote jobs regardless of where you live. Almost all jobs on Instaffo are in Germany.

How do I filter jobs?

Use the filters above your job suggestions to narrow down the list:

• Location and work mode

• Skills (for tech profiles: tech stack)

• Job category

• Benefits

• Employment type, for example part-time possible

Below that, choose a company type, such as startups, SMEs, or large companies. Select Filter zurücksetzen to restore the settings from your profile.

How do I save or hide jobs?

• Save: Click the heart. You’ll find the job under Gespeichert.

• Hide: Click the crossed-out eye. The job will disappear from your suggestions. You can show it again under Ausgeblendet.

Is a job link not working?

The job has been deactivated or paused. You’ll see a notice and won’t be able to apply for it right now. There are more suitable jobs waiting for you in your job suggestions.
